The North Bay Youth Soccer club is happy to welcome Jamie (James) Smith from Challenger Sports.
The Technical Coach Practices that are listed on your child’s schedule are practices with Jamie, the Challenger Coach. He is here to help develop your child’s core soccer skills and understanding of the game, the Challenger's philosophy encourages children to become independent learners; to develop socially; and to better understand the meaning of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. The innovative curriculum will engage, educate and entertain your child and will make this one of their most treasured soccer memories. Please take advantage of these practices and clinics the club is offering free of charge to your children. We hope to see you out on the pitch!
Jamie has two open time slots this Saturday, July 2 at noon and 1pm where you are able to book a team practice with him. Please call the office for further details at 705-494-7388 and book a time. Spots are limited and are filled on a first come first serve basis. These will be held at ONR Field

Jamie (James) Smith
Jamie started his coaching career at his local soccer club, in a voluntary role, coaching U6 and U7 Teams. This was followed quickly by the U14 team, which he stayed with until they were U18s. Jamie started working for challenger Sports as a summer coach at the age of 18. Over the past 5 years he has been able to expand his coaching knowledge and progressed from summer coach to camp director. Jamie has worked in Canada, England, USA, and Barbados. Jamie has also coached within Exeter City's, a professional club in England, community and academy programme.
